P.S. We're pretty sure it would be impossible to beat "In Gouda We Trust" (Smith’s Farmstead Gouda with Carmelized Onions & Sauteed Mushrooms on Iggy’s Organic Dark Rye Pain de Mie Bread.....yummm), but if you're interested check out the full Grilled Cheese Nation Food Truck menu.
Is there anything better than free icecream? What about having to hunt for the free icecream truck...kind of like a little game...right? RIGHT?
For the next month (Till August 25th) Ben and Jerry's will be driving their ice cream truck all around Boston and scooping out the love. They are testing out their two latest flavors of Milk & Cookies and Boston Cream Pie.
Of course it's not like a Where's Waldo book, you can follow Ben and Jerry's on Facebook or on Twitter to find out where they will be on given days. Enjoy the ice cream and eat it fast in this heat.
I have a friend on the west coast who rants and raves about buying her meals off of trucks. And all I can say is "Really.....REALLY?" But than I experienced my first food truck drive by...and I was in utter amazement at how wonderful it was. Sure it may not be that healthy for you, live a little bit!!
With that said, SoWa is hosting the 1st Annual Food Truck Festival on Sunday, August 8, 2010 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at 540 Harrison Ave. So if you like food, and you're partial to trucks (you don't really have to be partial to trucks, but you do have to love food). Head on over this Sunday!
