#222 7th Annual SoWa Holiday Market

 

sowa holidayIt's the time of the year folks. The SoWa market is featuring over 80 juried artists and designers from around New England today(10am) and tomorrow (December 12 at 9:30am). Find that rare and special...and meaningful holiday gift right here. (from handbags, pottery, letterpress stationary...need me some of that, silk-screened t-shirts, baby clothes..there is something here for everyone).

 

It's all withing walking distance to Boston's best galleries, boutiques and international cuisine...so make a day out of it, or make a weekend out of it. Which every you prefer.

#109 Fisherman's Feast

 

fishermanfeastLike fish? Love the North End? The 100th Annual Fishman's Feast will take place from Thursday, August 12th to Sunday August 15th in the North End.

Beginning at 7pm on Thursday evening, the festivities will began. Events during the three days include cooking demonstrations by celebrity and local chefs, children's activities, face painting, games, magic acts, marching bands, DJs, and lots and lots of Italian food....with cheese and wine tastings to boot. #69 Fourth of July Reading of the Declaration of Independence (Sunday)

 

40723Join the crowds in Boston for a Fourth of July tradition. The Captain Commanding of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company reads America's Declaration of Independence from the balcony of the Old State House, where it was originally read in 1776.
