We are proud to support Toys for Tots this year...Drop off toys with us!
Given the current economic situation this year, many children will go without toys this holiday season if they don't have support (see "Toy shortage a nightmare before Christmas" from the Boston Herald). Many charitable organizations are struggling for donations so in my opinion, it is more vital than ever that we step up with our support. At Charlesgate Realty Group, we are proud to support the Marine's Toys for Tots program this year in two ways:
- At our office in the Back Bay (see below for address), we are serving as a drop off point for new, unwrapped toys for children under 10 years old. If you are able, please consider bringing a new toy and drop it off with us for the program. Any and all support is appreciated!
- We are also proud to announce that we will be donating one new toy for every buyer or listing we put under agreement and also for every apartment we rent from December 1st thru December 15th. Our goal is 30 deals and 30 toys donated from us in that time!
Obviously everyone is feeling the pinch this year, but if you can find a little bit of extra money to buy a toy for a kid in need, you are welcome (and encouraged) to bring it by our office at 867 Boylston Street in the Back Bay (map) and drop it off here. The office is open on weekdays from 9am - 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Feel free to stop by at your convenience. We will be delivering all toys on the 17th so please try to get here before then!
